EXPOSED: Gbemi Saraki holds secret meeting with INEC, seeks manipulation in favour of PDP’s Yaman Abdullahi

The Minister of State for Mines and Steel, Ms Gbemisola Ruqayyah Saraki, last night held a secret meeting with some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Ilorin.

The meeting, according to our source, took place at former Senate President Bukola Saraki’s residence in GRA.

“It was a top secret meeting with the INEC officials seeking them to manipulate the electoral process in favour of PDP’s candidate Yaman Abdullahi,” the source said.

Our medium reports that Gbemi Saraki has been serially accused of mobilising support for the opposition candidate whose choice she was said to have influenced at the primary.

The source added that, “She demanded that INEC allows overvoting at polling units, late arrival of sensitive INEC materials at APC strongholds. She also demanded the manipulation of BVAS to slow down operations at the APC strongholds.”

The meeting later ended after about two hours of engagement, with Saraki heavily inducing the officials and promising more after a successful assignment.
